OCASI had a strong presence at the International Metropolis Conference 2019 held on June 24 to 28 in Ottawa – Gatineau.
We acknowledge with  gratitude financial support from World Education Services (WES) that made it  possible for OCASI staff and member agencies to attend the Conference.
  
OCASI Executive Director Debbie Douglas was a panelist at the Plenary session Cities and Migration on Friday June 28.

  OCASI Senior Coordinator Policy and Research Manolli Ekra was organizer, moderator and panelist at the concurrent session, Negotiating  Identities in Canada: Being Francophone in a transnational and bilingual  context.
  
OCASI member agencies from around Ontario organized and presented at various conference sessions to share their expertise and showcase innovative projects and good practices.
