Toronto Newcomer Day

Join us for this year's Toronto Newcomer Day celebrations taking place on Tuesday, May 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Nathan Phillips Square.

Toronto Newcomer Day is an annual event, first proclaimed in 2015, that highlights Canada's proud history of welcoming newcomers with open arms. Nathan Phillips Square and City Hall will be filled with activities and entertainment as we welcome newcomers to Toronto and celebrate their many contributions.

Toronto Newcomer Day is especially meaningful this year given the overwhelming outpouring of support from Toronto communities in light of the national Syrian refugee resettlement effort.

Visit toronto.ca/newcomerday for more information or download the event flyer here.

We hope that you will be able to join us!
